Description du poste
Megève Bois by The Magic Collection Retreats is tucked at the foot of La Princesse, only a few meters from the slopes. A chalet with a weathered-wood façade, our house feels more like a family home than a hotel: twelve rooms and suites, one buy-out villa, a strong artistic identity carried by a carefully curated art collection, and two tables by chef Elvis Dedi - Le Simon, Franco-Italian sharing cuisine, and The Andrew, its fine-dining counterpart.
Born from the passion of three people who came from outside the hospitality world, but driven by a desire to keep alive and preserve a certain art of welcoming, our house cultivates authenticity, an eye for detail and a true family soul. Here, art, culture, wine and hospitality come together to turn every stay into a unique experience.
We are looking for a versatile Front Office professional to be the central point of coordination for our house - and the person who keeps everything running smoothly across our properties. Working closely with our Head of Relationships and the Hotel Director, you'll ensure a seamless, high-end experience for both guests and teams.
• Act as the central reference point ensuring smooth operations between teams (Housekeeping, Drivers/Maintenance, Service) across all properties
• Manage check-in and check-out, including in private apartments - warm welcomes, luggage assistance, ID and pre-authorisations, guided tours, menu presentation and dietary needs
• Deliver concierge services: restaurant, transport and event bookings, including for VIP guests, and keep the services directory up to date
• Coordinate operational logistics with the Driver & Maintenance team, and oversee parking allocation for guests and staff
• Support stock management with Housekeeping (consumables, uniforms, guest amenities) and contribute to back-office and administrative tasks, procedures and daily reporting
• Actively upsell the house's services (spa, dining, experiences) to enrich the guest experience and grow revenue
• Manage front-office systems (PMS and integrations) and take part in weekly operational meetings
• Experience in a front office / guest-facing role, ideally in starred or luxury establishments
• Advanced English and French essential
• Proficiency with hotel management software (PMS) and general office tools
• Strong sense of service, rigour, organisation and attention to detail
• A hands-on, versatile, solutions-oriented mindset and a taste for teamwork
• Driving licence required (own car preferred)
• Legal right to work in France (EU citizenship or a valid French residence/work permit) - no visa sponsorship offered
• Contract: permanent (CDI)
• Working hours: 42 hours per week, 6 days per week
• Salary: €2,350 gross
• Cellar distinguished by the Wine Spectator - Best of Award of Excellence
• Possibility to grow and expand your role
• Small dynamic & friendly team
• An exceptional setting in the mountains of Megève, in a human-scale house with a strong artistic identity
