Description du poste
Les missions du poste
Hydvance develops liquid hydrogen (LH2) storage and transfer systems for advanced mobility applications. The company focuses on the design and integration of cryogenic solutions for aerial, maritime, and ground platforms, aiming to improve energy performance while supporting decarbonization efforts.
Joining Hydvance means working in a highly technical environment, contributing directly to the development of new hardware from design through testing and validation.
What we offer :
- Hands-on work on flight hardware from your first week.
- Direct technical ownership on a high-visibility aerospace programme.
- Small team, no bureaucracy. Your work reaches the final product.
- Exposure to the full engineering lifecycle: design, analysis, manufacturing, test.
- A dynamic start-up building real hardware.
We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support the detailed mechanical design and 3D modelling of LH2 tank assemblies. The primary focus is CAD, but you will also contribute to structural analyses and FEA work under the supervision of senior engineers.
This is a learning-intensive role with fast progression. You will work on real flight hardware from day one, not test benches or paper studies. If you want to build things that fly, this is the job.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain 3D CAD models (CATIA / 3DExperience) of inner tank, outer shell, mounting hardware, piping, and instrumentation.
- Produce detailed part drawings and assembly drawings with proper GD&T and tolerancing.
- Manage the Digital Mock-Up (DMU): interference checks, assembly sequences, integration with customer aircraft model.
- Support the Bill of Materials (BoM) and configuration management.
- Perform preliminary structural analyses: hand calculations and simple FEA models under supervision.
- Set up and run FEA models (Abaqus / 3DExperience) for specific load cases.
- Assist in manufacturing drawing packages: tolerances, surface finishes, weld joint preparation details.
- Support design reviews with 3D visualisations and drawing packages.
