WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Context Within Suez Digital Solutions, the Major Projects department brings together experienced Project Directors capable of delivering complex projects in France and internationally, supported by multidisciplinary teams and developing talent. The team works on strategic projects aimed at designing and deploying digital solutions (data, software, remote management, IoT) to: - optimize the management and performance of water and waste services; -connect and monitor critical infrastructure; -leverage data to improve field operations. In this context, we are looking for a Project Manager / Project Director able to secure execution, structure complexity, and drive overall project success. Purpose of the Role You are responsible for the overall success of major projects, from initial scoping through to operational implementation. Beyond project management, your role is to: - bring clarity in complex environments - align stakeholders with sometimes divergent interests - ensure technical, contractual, and financial commitments are met - establish strong client relationships You transform complex projects into concrete, operational deliverables. Main Responsibilities Project Leadership -Take full responsibility for project delivery (cost, timeline, quality, risks) - Define and lead governance (steering committees, project boards, executive reporting) - Structure and secure project trajectories in complex environments - Ensure compliance with contractual commitments Management and Coordination - Lead multidisciplinary teams (technical, business, partners, subcontractors) - Bring together stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority - Make decisions and prioritize in demanding contexts - Create conditions for sustainable collective performance Financial and Contract Management -Manage project P&L (margin, budget, cash flow) -Anticipate risks and deviations -Lead contractual changes (amendments, negotiations) -Contribute to overall financial performance Cross-functional Contribution -Participate in pre-sales phases for strategic projects -Capitalize on lessons learned -Contribute to improving project management practices WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Education Master's degree (Engineering or equivalent - Bac +5) Project management certification is a plus Experience & Skills Experience in project management, ideally in complex environments Good understanding of digital environments (software, SCADA, remote management, smart metering, etc.) Strong knowledge of contractual and financial matters Experience managing or coordinating multidisciplinary teams Key Qualities Leadership and strong sense of responsibility Analytical mindset and holistic vision Rigor and organizational skills Ability to handle demanding contexts with perspective and control Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit Languages Professional proficiency in English is required French is a strong asset (or required depending on project context), particularly for interactions with local teams and stakeholders What Will Make the Difference Ability to bring clarity in complex situations Capacity to engage diverse stakeholders without direct authority Ability to balance operational rigor with human relationships A posture combining strategic vision and hands-on execution Why Join Suez Digital Solutions?
