Les missions du poste About the Company Established in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company, based in Toulouse, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting-edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendez-Vous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision-Based Navigation Solution. IO has two generations of missions "Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO. Our first, OG-1 was launched on 1 May 2023, the second is launching in 2025 and the third third launching in 2026. "Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years. We are seeking a Satellite Operations Preparation Engineer to coordinate and prepare satellite operations throughout the mission lifecycle. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners, you will ensure the readiness of the Mission Control Center and operations readiness for launch and mission operations. This role covers the planning, coordination, validation, and operational preparation of both the space and ground segments, supporting activities from system development through launch, commissioning, and routine mission operations. Alternative location: Luxembourg. Job Description - Coordinate and oversee the preparation of satellite operations in collaboration with engineering and operations teams. - Coordinate, review, and validate Flight Control Procedures (FCPs) and operational timelines for both routine and contingency operations in collaboration with operations engineering teams and external partners. - Coordinate the preparation and execution of Satellite Validation Tests (SVTs) and other operational readiness activities. - Plan and monitor the delivery schedule for operational products and documentation. - Support software and hardware design reviews, and other system lifecycle milestones for both satellite and ground segment elements. - Support the verification and validation of the operational ground segment. - Collaborate with the engineering teams to the development and refinement of the Mission Control Center, including software, system validation, operational concepts, and operational readiness - Support operations preparation activities for the Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP). - Provide engineering support for routine mission operations and contingency scenarios. - Work closely with project managers, subsystem engineers, operations personnel, and external suppliers to ensure operational readiness across the mission lifecycle. - Develop and maintain operational documentation. - Develop training materials, execute training courses, and define operational qualifications criteria. Le profil recherché Self-motivated with a proactive approach, strong ownership, and attention to detail.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.At least 5 years of experience in satellite operations, mission operations, and systems engineering.Strong knowledge of spacecraft operational concepts, including:Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP)Routine mission operationsContingency operationsIdeally, Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO)Experience developing or reviewing Flight Control Procedures (FCPs), Flight Operations Manuals (FOMs) and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)Experience coordinating Satellite Validation Tests (SVTs) and operational readiness activities.Familiarity with ground segment components, including Flight Operations Centres, ground stations, and data processing centres.Understanding of systems engineering processes and project lifecycle reviews, including verification and validation.Experience with software integration in mission-critical systems.Understanding of mission data processing and operational workflows.Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, or subcontractors.
