Mechanical - Industrialization Engineer - France & China H/F

Détail du poste Company Sherco is a French motorcycle manufacturer specializing in off-road motorcycles. As part of the development and industrialization of a new engine project, Sherco is looking for a Mechanical / Industrialization Engineer to act as a technical interface between its engineering team in France and its manufacturing partners in China. Position We are looking for an engineer with a strong mechanical background and experience in industrialization, manufacturing, supplier follow-up or production launch. The role can be based either in France with regular trips to China, or in China with frequent interaction with the French team. Main responsibilities You will support Sherco in the industrialization of mechanical components and engine-related systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as the technical interface between Sherco's French engineering team and Chinese suppliers/manufacturing partners - Following up on industrialization activities in China - Supporting supplier discussions, technical reviews and manufacturing feasibility analysis - Monitoring project progress, technical issues, quality topics and action plans - Coordinating communication between French and Chinese teams - Supporting production launch, process validation and supplier follow-up - Identifying risks related to manufacturing, quality, timing or technical feasibility - Reporting clearly to Sherco management on project status and key issues Le profil recherché ProfileYou have an engineering background in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, automotive engineering or a similar field.You have experience in one or several of the following areas:Mechanical engineeringIndustrializationManufacturing engineeringSupplier qualitySupplier developmentProduction launchAutomotive, motorcycle, engine, machinery or mechanical componentsRequired skillsStrong mechanical understandingExperience with manufacturing or industrialization processesAbility to interact with suppliers and technical teamsGood project coordination skillsClear communication in an international environmentAbility to travel regularly between France and China if requiredAutonomy, reliability and problem-solving mindsetLanguagesChinese: native or fluentEnglish: fluentFrench: a strong advantageIdeal candidateThe ideal candidate is a Chinese-speaking engineer with solid mechanical or industrial experience, able to bridge the gap between French engineering teams and Chinese manufacturing partners.We are open to different types of profiles:An experienced engineer based in ChinaA France-based engineer willing to travel regularly to ChinaA bicultural profile with strong communication skills and technical credibilityLocationFrance and/or China, depending on the candidate's profile.Regular travel to China may be required.Why join this project?This is a unique opportunity to join a French motorcycle manufacturer on a strategic international industrial project.You will play a key role in connecting engineering, suppliers and manufacturing teams across France and China.
